Next to beautiful Waterfront Park in Bath, Maine
Sadia Crosby, owner of Oysthers Sea Farm, along with her sister Lauren, are lobstermen’s daughters from Georgetown Island, Maine.
At the end of 2021 their father, Captain Angus McGregor Crosby (their best friend), passed away unexpectedly; leaving behind his three daughters, wife of twenty nine years, and his lobster traps and lobster boats still in the water. It was during this time period that the duo decided to fulfill one of their sister-dreams: the opening of Oysthers Raw Bar & Bubbly– a seasonal raw bar featuring Sadia’s own Oysthers and fresh seafood to support Georgetown’s local lobstermen, fishermen and farmers. Oysthers also specializes in sparkling wine, mimosa flights, Busch Light, and non-alcoholic bubbly drinks.
OUR SPACE
We allow well behaved pups in our outdoor area! Have a seat where you please, take a look at a menu & then order at the counter. Our hardworking local staff delivers your food + drinks to you and also clears your table. We accept credit cards but cash is our preferred method of payment.
WHO WE SOURCE OUR OTHER OYSTERS FROM
We have an emphasis on sourcing from female-owned and family-owned farms that don’t produce the quantity to sell to wholesale markets but are still growing a phenomenal oyster. We currently only sell oysters raised in Maine.
OUR METHOD
We have a shuck-to-order method which ensures the absolute freshest product reaches your plate— you can taste the difference. Unlike many raw bars across the nation, we do not pre-shuck our oysters. This may cause a slightly longer wait time, so please enjoy the Kennebec River and soak in her beauty while you wait.
